Tasks:

The main mission of the role is taking over the responsibility of generating technically accurate and commercially competitive proposals for automation project opportunities based on Mitsubishi Electric's Distributed Control System PMSXpro and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system Genesis64. The main tasks of the successful candidate include:
Evaluation and clarification of customer's technical specifications and assessment of their feasibility given Mitsubishi Electric's plant automation solutions portfolio
Engineering of the proposed solution based on customer requirements and Mitsubishi Electric's portfolio
Accurate estimation of required Bill of Materials and Quantities and consequently cost of the proposed solution
Creation and support the sales responsible in negotiation of technical and commercial deviations with the help of solutions management and contracts management departments
Evaluating technical and commercial risks of automation solution bids and proposing the respective mitigation measures
Support sales responsible in clarification and negotiation of prepared proposals with the customers
Support sales responsible in transferring won projects to the project execution organization

Profile:

University degree in electrical engineering with specialization in automation, control or electronics from an accredited university or equivalent training and experience
Detailed knowledge of automation and control technologies and solutions specifically Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Supervisory, Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems
Knowledge of process plants engineering as well as instrumentation shall be considered beneficial
Knowledge of utilities market and other process industries would be an advantage
Past experience of generating proposals for industrial solutions and/or working experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Supervisory, Control and Data Acquisition Systems
Multiple years of experience in solution and project business especially in growth cycle
International work experience and exposure
Focused on business results and customer value creation with high level of attention to detail
Cross functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence without authority
High level of inter-cultural sensitivity with the ability to function well in an extremely international environment
Fluent in business English and German. Mastery of additional European Languages especially will be a plus
