About the role
- Analyse value contribution across from portfolio view.
- Perform benchmarks of RWE Generation SE portfolio vs. the market.
- Commercial interface to RWE Supply & Trading, analyse and challenge commercial strategies from a portfolio perspective.
- Identify optimization potential on a portfolio level and derive according measures.
- Analyse infrastructural / general cost and optimization potential.
- Interact with RWEG's AI development for use in portfolio optimization.
- Moderate a technology-overarching fair cost valuation on potential conflicts.
Job requirements and experience
- Economic/technical education (university degree) as well as at least 3 years' experience from working in the energy industry.
- Expertise in performing business evaluations under complex conditions.
- Profound experience in the power industry including plant operation & maintenance.
- Interpersonal skills in dealing with conflicting targets and convincing people.
- Fluent English; German and Dutch skills are an advantage but not essential.
