Credit Manager (m/f/d)

Join our international Credit Risk team and help shape the future of financial services. In this wide-ranging role, you’ll perform holistic credit assessments, ensure portfolio health, and contribute to developing efficient, scalable credit processes. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Sales, Product, Compliance, and Implementation — balancing risk and growth across our BNPL and financial services offerings.

You’ll take the initiative, share ideas, and play a key role in evolving how we manage credit risk — working closely with stakeholders across functions to drive smart, scalable solutions.
What will be your challenge?
- Conduct end-to-end credit assessments and financial due diligence across the client lifecycle.
- Monitor portfolio performance, detect early signs of distress, and define mitigation strategies.
- Identify and contribute to process improvements, automation, and credit risk framework enhancements across regional teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed credit risk requirements into client journeys, systems, and products.
- Present the credit decisions and recommendations to internal stakeholders and Credit committees.
What you need to have to succeed in the role:
- 3+ years of experience in Credit Risk or Credit Management within Fintech, Banking, or Payments area
- Strong knowledge of credit analysis, risk classification, and regulatory frameworks (including KYC/AML).
- Proven track record in managing credit processes and contributing to digital transformation or operational excellence initiatives.
- Analytical thinker with strong investigative skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in financial, data analysis, and reporting tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across diverse business functions.
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented — with a hands-on, “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality.
- Familiarity with Lean, Agile, or Continuous Improvement tools (e.g., Kaizen, VSM) is a plus.
- Fluency in English. German, Dutch, or a Nordic language is a plus.
