For our Corporate Controlling Offshore team, we are looking for a dedicated Financial Analyst d/f/m to take responsibility for management reporting and long-term financial planning.
About the role
- High quality management reporting on financial business development to the RWE Offshore Board
- Coordination of reporting processes for the global offshore business and modeling of business cases in long-term planning
- Analyzing and commenting on planning, forecasts and actual financial statements in close coordination with the operational offshore controlling and accounting teams
- Contact person for internal questions in the context of planning and forecasting processes
- Collaboration in the preparation of offshore performance dialogues and planning workshops
- Development and optimization of planning and reporting processes as well as controlling products
- Contributing to the further development and maintenance of a planning tool for the preparation of offshore long-term planning
- Carrying out valuations for impairment tests (e.g. goodwill)
Job requirements and experience
- Fully completed university degree or equivalent degree in economics, finance, business administration or business informatics
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in comparable commercial positions with knowledge of controlling and financial management concepts
- Very good knowledge of business modeling, information management systems and data management; knowledge of valuation is a beneficial asset
- Very good knowledge of financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and extensive user knowledge of SAP BW/BI
- High numerical skills to interpret data and information and present it in a clear format
- Very good communication skills and a high ability to present complex issues to management in a customer-oriented manner
- Enjoy intercultural teamwork, high reliability and integrity as well as a high degree of self-organization, personal commitment and flexibility
- Fluency in German and English
