We are looking for a Project Procurement Manager (f/m/d) to join our E.ON Drive GmbH team in Essen or München as soon as possible. In this role, you will be at the forefront of establishing the largest premium ultra-fast charging network in Europe with over 400 sites in 10 countries and a volume of at least 500 M€. y If you are interested, please apply online!

Your tasks

  • You lead and steer all Supply Chain activities as Procurement Single Point of Contact (SPOC) on project level basis and interface in cross-functional project teams
  • You deliver business support by ensuring the most cost effective and scalable supply chain set up
  • You provide support in large CAPEX projects
  • You are the procurement expert within the project team across business and category managers to drive effective application of best-in-class methodologies along the sourcing process such as Design-to-Cost, Value Engineering or other cost modelling techniques
  • You carry out cost analyses (e.g. total cost of ownership) and coordinate and manage procurement risks
  • You are responsible for ensuring the required supplier performance by measuring and monitoring KPIs and conducting regular performance reviews
  • You work together with operational purchasing in the processing of orders in our IT systems
  • You manage the full operational sourcing process (including demand/market analysis, RFI, RFPs, negotiation, contracting and supplier implementation) in close collaboration with the project team
  • You coordination purchasing activities between project team and international / regional categories

Your profile

  • Relevant academic degree (Master or equivalent) or similar education/apprenticeship
  • Several years of experience in operational / strategic procurement of international categories across different roles, e.g. as technical buyer, project procurement manager buyer or category manager
  • Relevant experience in complex procurement, tender and award processes, e.g. in the context of large CAPEX projects and/or experience in collaboration with cross-functional project teams, especially in the area of new product/service development
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of purchasing tools, e.g. in the areas of SAP, SRM, eSourcing and eAuctions
  • Knowledge of the use of common methods and tools for cost analysis
  • Ideally experience in the intercultural working environment of a matrix organization
  • Business fluent in German & English
  • Readiness to travel both nationally and internationally
