Proposal Engineer (f/m/d) Steam Turbine

Are you ready to help shape the energy world of tomorrow? As a Proposal Engineer (m/f/d), you will be part of a dynamic team that develops innovative solutions for steam turbines. You will work closely with colleagues from various fields and be in direct contact with our customers and proposal project leaders. Together, you will define the framework conditions for complete steam turbine packages. Your task is to process the team's results and create a comprehensive technical offer, including costs. In doing so, you will explain the details to both our internal stakeholders and the customers.
In a highly digitized environment that is constantly evolving, you will be part of our transformation towards decarbonized energy generation. Your work will contribute to the use of cutting-edge technologies to increase efficiency and promote the use of CO2-neutral fuels or nuclear applications.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Coordination of proposal activities within the international team and collaboration with internal and external partners
- Analysis of customer requirements and development of innovative solutions using the latest steam turbine technology
- Representation of the steam turbine in customer discussions and clear, convincing explanation of the technology
- Preparation of technical offers and utilization of digital tools for documentation, cost calculation, and risk management
- Active participation in the continuous improvement process and leveraging AI-supported applications to optimize daily work
What You Bring
- Successful completion of a degree in engineering, technology, or a related field
- Willingness to face new challenges daily and commitment to lifelong learning
- Ability to deliver high-quality work on time
- Openness to occasional international travel and intercultural experiences
- Proactive attitude, creativity, and ambition
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German as a plus

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
