In the position of Senior Logistics Planner (m/f/x), you will start at our campus in Gütersloh or one of our locations in Dortmund or Gennep (NL) and become an innovative thought leader for our customers and locations in the US, supporting our e-commerce, healthcare and tech industries with unique intralogistics solutions and concepts with a high degree of automation. Your tasks

  • As a Senior Logistics Planner (m/f/x) you will develop and implement strategic and complex intralogistics projects for our customers and locations in the USA 
  • You advise our internal and external customers on their requirements and present customized recommendations for implementation 
  • You carry out structural data analyses, are responsible for material flow and space planning and design warehouse layouts and automated systems 
  • You will support the implementation of projects at our logistics locations in Germany and abroad, including supplier selection, project management and budget controlling as well as productivity and personnel requirements calculation 
  • A global and experienced team of logistics planners and industrial engineers as well as modern tools for data evaluation, simulation and visualization of your concepts are available to you for the implementation of these tasks 

Your profile

  • Successfully completed studies in logistics management, (industrial) engineering, business administration with a focus on logistics or a comparable course of study
  • Several years of experience in logistics and material flow planning, automation in intralogistics and / or in the implementation of implementation projects (greenfield, brownfield, optimization projects) as (partial) project manager 
  • Strong communication skills in German and English as well as a willingness to work in Germany and abroad 
  • Strong analytical skills, an independent working style and the ability to understand the needs of customers
