A key focus is fostering meaningful engagement with communities, ensuring we act as a responsible and valued neighbour. By collaborating with global stakeholders, you'll work across various RWE business units, gaining valuable insights into how we integrate community benefits into our business models.
About the role
- Engage with colleagues across organisation to produce good practice examples for local benefits topics (these are related to fisheries, local supply chains, workforce development and community engagement) under guidance of Local Benefits Project Manager
- Be able to work effectively and take initiative on interviewing people and producing material based on the data gathered
- Drive development of a measurement framework to assess the social value we create in communities
- Maintain and amend repository (SharePoint based) as the classification evolves; pay attention on user friendliness and intuitive way of laying out information
- Be proactive and have ability to identify what other examples can be showcased through the conversations with individuals when gathering information
Job requirements and experience
- Business-fluent in English, as example gathering will be conducted globally
- Interest in sustainability, especially in socio-economic topics which are relevant to offshore wind - e.g. citizen or community engagement, local supply chains, workforce development, fisheries, etc.
- Interest in offshore wind industry and awareness on offshore wind project development
- Understanding of project management tools is advantageous
